A Wireless Emergency Alert has been issued for San Luis Obispo Evacuation Zones SLC-001, SLC-002 and SLC-003 related to the Plaskett Fire in Monterey County:
Emergency Officials at the Plaskett Fire have issued Evacuation Warnings for SLC-001, SLC-002, and SLC-003. These areas include South of the SLO County Boundary, North of Carpoforo Creek and Via Piedras Blancas, West of Green Canyon, East of the Pacific Ocean. There is no immediate threat to the public, but residents in the area should be prepared to evacuate if ordered. Visit ReadySLO.org/WEA for additional information.
